Their mission to develop high-performance ergonomic office tools that solve functional problems as simply and elegantly as possible was notably recognized by the design community in 2004 when they were named by I.D. magazine as one of ten “best companies” worldwide that “help push design forward.” Today the company is the runaway leader in that product category. But it was Humanscale’s entry into the task seating market that truly turned heads.

Humanscale achieve superior performance by designing in accordance to how people actually work— how they sit, type and move at their desks. People don’t contemplate the physical relationship of their body to objects, or think about their posture when sitting. Humanscale designs products to think for you whilst at work. Their products react to your movements. And adjust to your bodies—instead of the other way around. The result? Your Unsurpassed comfort.

In essence they stream line the current design, whether it be furniture or accessory.

Lee Broom is one of the UK’s leading product and interior designers.

In his career, he has launched numerous furniture and lighting collections, designed over 40 retail, restaurant and bar interiors and has won more than 20 awards including the ELLE Decoration British Design Award.

Lee Broom founded his own label five years ago and designs, manufactures and retails his own collections, collaborates with other brands and designs unique interiors. The importance of the manufacturing process is integral to Broom’s philosophy. A supporter of British manufacturing techniques, Broom works closely with specialist traditional craftsman from the initial concept to final production runs. His meteoric rise has seen him dubbed “the pin up of British manufacturing” by The Times.

Lee Broom products are now retailed in stores in over 25 countries. Following the launch of his collection ‘Salon’ ,The Guardian commented:
“Lee Broom is to furniture what Marc Jacobs or Tom Ford are to fashion”

After listening to countless requests from fellow Architects to see his father’s designs reissued, Benjamin decided to join with his brother Thomas to form the Cherner Chair Company in 1999.
Since then the Cherner Chair Company has brought back into production many of Norman Cherner’s most popular designs.
Utilising his original drawings and specifications, the reissued designs are manufactured with the same attention to detail found in the original hand made classics.
Cherner Chair products are now distributed through dealers worldwide.
In addition to reissuing the molded plywood chairs, stools and tables, The Cherner Chair Company has introduced new designs by Benjamin Cherner.
The Cherner Chair Company is the sole licensor of Norman Cherner and Benjamin Cherner designs.
